Thank You

On behalf of everyone who has worked on all of the sentinel projects and publications in the past year, I thank you immensely for standing by us these past four years. I thank you for your patience during the 3 or 4 months we have released the journal late. We also ask you to forgive any promises we have made in any way which we failed to fulfil. At Sentinel, we will never intentionally fail to deliver a promise. The only promise all of us who constitute the Sentinel team make today is that we are rededicating ourselves to the vision and objectives of Sentinel Poetry Movement. This year, the 5th year of the movement is the year we expect Sentinel Poetry Movement to come of age in her spirit of enterprise.

I am especially grateful to the following
personal friends and colleagues:
Amatoritsero Ede, Editor, Sentinel Poetry (Online),
Malcolm Fabiyi, Moderator, Sentinel Poetry Bar,
Pius Adesanmi, Contributing Editor, Sentinel Poetry Quarterly,
Molara Wood, Reviews Editor, Sentinel Poetry Quarterly,
Kellee Lugo, our new Technical Editor for the online journal, and
Afam Akeh incoming Editor, The Sentinel Quarterly: Journal of African and World Literature.

Most of all, I am give praise to God for the gift of life to all of us, and finally, I say a very big thank you to my wife Amaka for the space and understanding she offered me all year while I attended to the business of Sentinel.

Here is a bubbly e-toast to all of you.

We wish you a Merry Christmas and Bountiful Creativity in the New Year.

Congratulations

Dear Nnorom, my brother, it is not a small thing to sustain a thing for four years. In Nigeria, we will call it first term. I pray that our good God will increase your greatness and comfort you on every side. May Sentinel Poetry outlast you. May it continually remain a rallying point for young and upcoming poets, both in Nigeria and across the world. Jisike.

Dear Mr Azuonye,

This is to felicitate with you and other members of Sentinel Poetry
movement on Sentinel's fourth anniversary.

And it's heartwarming that The Sentinel( online and print), like a
mustard seed, has grown to become what it is today, a giant.

As you all celebrate its fourth anniversary, please, do accept my best
wishes for a brighter future, ahead.

Congratulations.
